Beginning of the Coronavirus lockdown: conversion to Christ and finding of this 1977 movie, Jesus of Nazareth. Scriptures brought to life and imagined dialogues by the director, especially evident in both the Judas and the Barabbas narratives. With each watching, from each reading, the film gains profundity. John the Baptist, raising Lazarus from the dead, and when Jesus speaks Matthew 5:48 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)…the movements of the New Testament…. Nazareth in Biblical times: it looks so appealing! The soundtrack by Maurice Jarre is great (after the first few bombastic minutes!). Movie in HD and full soundtrack found on You Tube.
