If you’ve left the church for any reason, be it that you no longer felt God there, differed with doctrine, saw things that saddened or enraged you, please consider that “the errors of organized religion can be corrected by turning to the perfection of the gospel”. You can find a home again—the most important place to start is to read the word yourself.
In The Third Epistle of John, John writes this “Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God: the one who does evil has not seen God". 3 John: 11. We use this testimony as salve for any time we were led astray in the church. Why continue to blame God? We know that each person has free will. If the church is imitating evil, then we don’t imitate it. We imitate and seek only what is good. But what is good?
